The Hellenic independent organization is in the process of being established in accordance with its regulations of EASA and EFNDT. We commintemt and harmonized to follow up the EN 4179.
About Us
A team of Greek Non Destructive Inspectors level 2 & 3 from the Greek aviation industry with many years of experience in the field are starting the effort to create the Hellenic Aviation NDT Board. Having worked in Greece and for many years abroad in Part 145 organizations, we are ready to establish Aerospace National Board.
We invite other inspectors who want to participate and if they wish to help on the board.
Our Methods
Hellenic Aviation National NDT Board
Fluorescent Penetrant (PT)
This method is used to detect surface defects such as cracks in aviation industry.
Magnetic Particle (MT)
Used to detect surface and near-surface defects in ferromagnetic materials.
Eddy Current (ET)
Can detect defects surface, near-surface defects and measure material properties.
Ultrasonic (UT)
A technique utilizes high-frequency sound waves to inspect and evaluate materials.
Radiography (RT)
Used to inspect the internal structure of materials and components for hidden flaws.
